Rapscallion
We are calling this the Rapscallion. Check out the word on Wikipedia and you will see why. This is not for everyone but on some people, in some environments it works. There is a section from mid crown that runs to the back of the head that has been put into dreadlocks. The remainder of the hair has been cut into a "somewhat"precise asymmetrical shape, with patches of platinum throughout the dreaded area and fringe. The base color is a dark mahogany. As you can see, we are very diverse at the little salon.

All of your haircuts are so great EXCEPT for this one. This is a mess! It looks like someone got their hair caught in a brush, and this was the end result. For professionals, this is not a professional look and makes the girl look like someone you would never take seriously. I would reconsider ever doing this again.
Dear Anonymous,
This is one of my daughters. The dreads were "born" from a 4 month long cycling, camping trek through New Zealand, hence the title Little Rapscallion. She wanted to keep the dreads, so I worked around her wishes. Different strokes for different folks. It may not be a look we we do at the little salon on a regular basis, but it's her look and I love her dearly!

i loved seeing this "rapscallion" look. it underscores the versatility of your work. she may not look like a professional, but she does fit the profile of a younger urban crowd. i appreciate your ability to enhance the looks of “different folks”.
