This was the most fun I had today, or maybe all week. Carrie was ready for a change, which is usually about every 4 months. So today was the day. We discussed some options: the Beret won. The Beret was a Vidal Sassoon classic in the 70's when he opened his first US salon in NY. I was fortunate to have been working at the Antoine Salon at Saks Fifth Ave. during those days. Sassoon was just down the street and we made it our business to become friends with some of his top cutters. We absorbed everything we could from them. I haven't cut a Beret in a long time, but it came back to me in a heart beat. The only area where we need to improve is: the over all shape from the front needs to be more round, the bang more angular and the long side needs to come up a bit. Look for Carrie in about 6 weeks to see the improvments. Carrie has the perfect face and hair for a look like this. She looks great! We hope Preston approves!
